Company History:

Data^#3's history dates back to 1977 when Powell Clark and Associates was founded by Terry Powell and Graham Clark, and became a leading IT software consultancy business that specialised in developing and implementing application software for small to medium sized organisations across a range of industries.

In 1984 Powell Clark and Associates merged with Allbrand Typewriters and Office Machines to become one of Queensland's first personal computer dealerships and the first reseller of IBM's "mid range" multi user computing systems. The combined business was launched as Data^#3 in late 1984, and was listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 1997.

Data^#3 reported revenues of $530 million in the 2008/09 financial year, and has over 500 employees. The company is headquartered in Brisbane, and has offices located in Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.
